All American Inspections & Testing started in 2005 in Covington after Katrina, at first we were exclusively home inspectors. We assisted home buyers in ensuring their new homes were free of any concealed issues! Our mission, “Inspected Once, Inspected Right,” underscores our commitment to thorough, accurate inspections every time. Around 2010 we started moving into the environmental testing space, focusing on indoor air quality testing. New Orleans and the Northshore were our main areas, but around two years ago we started MoldBR! - Exterior Examination: We assess the building’s exterior – from the foundation, grading, and roofing to windows, doors, and more.
- Interior Inspection: Our focus includes plumbing fixtures such as dishwashers, sinks, showers, and other essential areas like windows, ceilings, and walls.
- HVAC System Check: We thoroughly inspect components like the air handler, evaporator coil, ducts, vents, and more.
- Attic Assessment: We spot roof leaks, evaluate insulation, and identify potential condensation issues.
- Humidity Level Measurement: Using a Digital Psychrometer, we ensure humidity levels are within the safe range to prevent mold growth.
- Infrared & Moisture Analysis: Our thermal camera spots leaks, while our moisture meter highlights potential problem areas.
- UV Mold Detection: Using an LED UV Flashlight, we search for visible evidence of mold on various surfaces.
- Sampling Visible Mold: If mold is found, we’ll collect swab, tape, or bulk samples for accurate analysis.
- Air Sampling: Depending on various factors like the number of HVAC systems, rooms, etc., we collect air samples from different locations.
- Detailed Reporting: You receive a comprehensive report, complete with photos, videos, and a specific plan for mold remediation.

Can't thank Dan of All American Inspection and Testing enough. Right after Hurricane Ida, our family began to get sick. Over the next 6 months our symptoms became more frequent and much more severe. The last ER doctor suggested we have our home inspected. Having never experienced anything like this before we could only take a leap of faith after researching testing companies and reading reviews. I am so glad we took that leap! Dan Paradela is our hero! He returned our call immediately, asked questions, answered all of our questions (we had many) and was sincerely concerned about our family. He took his time with us to explain and educate. When he discovered the issue was in our AC system and duct work I nearly lost my mind. So gross! I wanted ALL the testing possible. Due to Hurricane Ida and having our house sit with dampness and no electricity caused mold to grow in our house. Do I need mold testing even if I can already see mold?
Yes — testing can help identify the type of mold and how far it has spread. It also establishes a baseline for remediation and verifies if the issue is affecting the indoor air quality beyond the visible area.
What if mold is found — do you also do the remediation?
We do not perform mold remediation, but we can provide detailed recommendations and refer qualified, trustworthy remediation contractors. Our role is to ensure you get an unbiased assessment and testing, whether or not remediation is needed.
Will your inspection cover the attic, HVAC system, or crawlspaces?
Yes — our assessments are comprehensive and include inspection of the attic, air handler, ductwork, and other hidden areas where mold often goes unnoticed.
Can you help after remediation to make sure it worked?
Absolutely. We offer post-remediation verification/Clearance (PRV) testing to confirm the work was successful and the mold levels are now within safe limits. This helps provide peace of mind and documentation for real estate or insurance purposes.
